Nero 6.0.0.23 and TDK indiDVD 440N

I just bought the TDK 440N DVD burner and need to get a hold of some burning software. Everyone here raves about Nero, but my Nero Express version 5.5 does not recognize the 440N. This is not too surprising as the Nero Express software is about a year old or so.

When I went to the Nero web site to see if the new version of the software (express or regular) supported the 440N and I went t the list of suported recorders the 440N wasn't on the list. The funny thing is that the list of supported devices aslo includes a note as to which version of the code the device was first supported in, and all the versions are 5.x.x. This seemed funny since the current version of the code is 6.0.0.23 and I would have thought that the newer versions would have supported new devices.

Can anyone here confirm that Nero supports the TDK 440N DVD burner.

I have Nero 5.5.10.50 (regular version - not Express), and this works perfectly with the TDK440N - even on the original firmware (1.06 I think).
