  1. Problem with Maddogmultimedia Prowler MX-440-SE installation: The PCI graphics card supporting PCI 2.0(or higher) is not getting fixed in my PCI 2.2 motherboard because of two notches of the graphics card not matching with the slot of the motherboard. Why is there this incompatibility issue ? Is there any adapter available with which I can use this graphics card in my PCI 2.2 slot ? Is any any other solution ?

  2. STop ! the nothches are there to prevent cards being put into either the wrong slot or a slot with the wrong voltage. Your card probably requires 3.0 volts supply and some adapters only supply 1.5v . Inserting the wrong card in the wrong slot will fry the card. check its correct slot PCI/AGP? and if AGP check for correct voltage.1.5/3.0 ...
