  1. i have a bunch of vob files and i used to be able to use toast 6 to burn them and they'd play in my dvd player, the latest version(6.04) doesn't seem to work and sizzle is very unstable and not very intuitive....what other choices are there besides sizzle?.......will dvd stuido pro work with vob files?

I can drag VOB's into the Toast 6.0.4 and the 6.0.5 Video window and they work fine. What happens when you drag in the files? How were the VOB's created?

Sorry, I don't have DVDSP so I can't answer your question.

demux them to get .m2v and whatever the audio is for that file

you can then import them into sizzle and deal with them

sizzle preferrs demuxed items rather than muxed items and is much more stable with the component video and audio files

at least this is the case in my experience

downloaded movie files are only legit to discuss as long as they are of television source, say episodes of a show or something along that line, or of personally authored nature

if its a commercial dvd were talking about then this is going to be locked immediatly, just fyi
