hi... is there such a thing as 3 pass mode in tmpg... i've made a avi to dvd mpeg and it seems to be a bit jumpy... the bitrate is about 4649 i think.... and that is at 2 pass mode.... has any one got any ideas?

No, there's no 3-pass mode and it wouldn't fix jumpiness anyway.

the only time i get jumpy mpgs from tmpg is if i encode a pal avi to ntsc mpg
