I captured video from an analog camcorder at 720 X 480, edited and made a DVD which plays well.
Now I am trying to make a VCD using the same video. When I play the created VCD on a TV, the picture shakes when the camera pans across the room fast.
When I converted 720 X 480 to 352 X 480 and created a DVD, there is no shaking.
When I converted the video to 352 X 240 there is alwasy shaking. I tried different kinds of resizing including dropping alternate fields to bring the vert. res. from 480 to 240 and the result is the same.
I tried both avisynth and vdubmid for resizing and both CCE and TMPG for encoding: result is the same.
Any suggestions?
