My DVD player/burner LG GSA-4040B plays DVD movies with a choppy sound. It's as if the computer doesn't have enough power to play a DVD properly. The sound sounds slow at some times, then plays fine for a bit then becomes choppy, throughout the movie. Is this a hardware problem or do I just need to download a driver.
CPU: AMD Duron 999 MHz
Video Card:NVidia GeForce 2 Mx 400
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live Value
Memory: 576 Ram
Thanks for the help

I don't think its the media. I'm using e3 works dvd-r, and memorex dvd+r. I'm also having the same problem with orginal DVD's.
