I've made 2 DVDs with TMPGEnc DVD Author (which is a pretty big deal since I've been trying to make one for almost 3 weeks using everything from Studio 8 to DVDLab to MYDVD with files muxed, demuxed, muxed up and remuxed.

I was going to burn them with Instant Copy, but when I tried to make a disk image it says there's a problem with a vob and won't do it. So I tried running it through DVDShrink 3.0beta5 with no compression, but DVDShrink says there's an unspecified problem with a vob.

I finally opened with DVDShrink 2.3 and it opened fine. So I backed it up with no compression and then I could open the backed up files with Instant Copy or DVDShrink 3.0.

What would be causing that? I can work around it by running everything through Shrink 2.3 after it's compiled by TMPGEnc, but it could save a little time if I knew why it was happening and could fix it.

I am wondering if you have tried the built in burning in TMPGEnc Author?

No I haven't tried that. The first DVD was too big so I was going to have to shrink it before I burned anyway. Then I just tried the 2nd the same as the first to see if it had the same problems.

I'll try to burn the next one with TMPGEnc Author to see if it works.
