Problem with Wavworks

I download Wavworks 1.4 and j2re-1_4_2_03-windows-i586-p and I
dont know how to start Wavworks, dont have html file.
There is only class files and when I start Wavworks.class they dont start.

Please Help!!!!!!!!

Strange. Does for me. What happens when you click on a .class file?
Try "java wavworks.class" from the command line (cd to the dir where wavworks.class is first).

No, "java wavworks.class" is the command you enter at a dos prompt. Java is the program that (when JRE is properly installed) runs java classes. So by typing "java wavworks.class" you tell java to start wavworks.

Wait a minute! Do you have .jar files associated with winzip or something similar? What you download from Schuberts site is a jar archive, and java can run it from the jar. It shouldn't be unpacked.
Open a command prompt.
Change path to the dir where you have WavWorks14.jar
type java -jar wavworks14.jar

Great. I really like WavWorks; its blazingly fast (it's great to stick under the nose of all that think Java applications are inherently slow) and the sound quality is very good. For the tasks it handles, I prefer it to every full blown audio editor I've tried (and that's quite a few!).
