I am looking for a video card to watch media downloaded from the net to my hard drive and watch on my t.v. I am sick of burning vcd/svcd's and dealing with the frezzing and jerky playback in my dvd player. I decided on the "x-card". My question is, " I am aware that the card can play mpeg and divx files, but if I download media in a different format such as (.ogg or xvid etc..) can I use "TMPGEN" to convert it to an mpeg file and then view it?? Any other comments on the card would also be appreciated.. If my p.c. specs help I run windows xp 256 ram 2.4ghz intel pentium 4
