    I burn the image that ffmpegX creates and never get it to work, only vcd has worked so far. I am using toast 6, what am i doing wrong...what do you guys use to burn the images that ffmpegX creates for svcd or dvd?

    In Toast 6, go to Copy > Advanced > Multi-Track CD-ROM XA. Then click "Select". A "CD-ROM XA Tracks" window will appear. Drop the _1.img and _2.img files created by ffmpegX in that window (two files for each disk). Burn.

    What about the dvd images that are authored by ffmpegX?

    You can burn them with Disk Utility.
