Burning software for burning SVCD

Hi!

I've just bought a new dvd writer(HP 300n) and since then I've had problems burning an SVCD.
It doesn't work with VCDeasy any longer(the writer probably isn't supported) and when I try and add a file in Nero, the file just isn't added.

Could anyone help me, maybe suggesting an alternative software, that may work even with newer DVD writers.

I had a prob when I upgraded my Sony CDRW for NEC 1300A too.

Try changing: Settings>CDRDAO>CD Writer>Force Driver
to either generic-mmc or generic-mmc-raw, restart VCDEasy.

I'm having the same problem...I can't get vcdeasy or Nero to work. I've tried all the versions of Nero (from 55042 up to 60019), and they all tell me the file won't fit on the disc (although it used to). Tried resetting the file preference sizes, that didn't work either.

Has anyone found a fix for this?
