I am using Toast 6 to author DVDs that I encode to MPEG1 files with an ElGato EyeTV. Toast automatically inserts chapters at five minute intervals but I was wondering if there was any way to modify those chapter markers. Most of the videos I am doing this with are concert performances and it would be cool to be able to index them by song. Any ideas? I don't want to go through the hassle of reencoding them to another format to edit in another program, as I love Toast's drag-and-drop simplicity.

To change chapter mark settings simply click edit on the video you have imported into toast.
in the window that pops up you have TEXT and VIDEO tabs
click VIDEO
on left hand side, you will see DVD CHAPTERS
Automatic is probably selected for you
options are 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 or none.
if you want anything beyond that, you will have to use something like Sizzle, but you will have to do a mpeg1 to mpeg2 conversion (unless your dvd player can hanlde mpeg1 files for dvd's)
with sizzle you can say at exactly x time I want a chaper mark. -
I don't see the tab you are referring to. Perhaps it is not enabled with MPEG1 files?
