I hope this is not off-topic. I am wondering if there is anyway to determine if a file encoded with divx 3.11 is encoded with "low" or "fast" setting.
I know there is an app on the PC that will tell this information, but I have yet to find one for the Mac (tried ffmpegx info, Divx Tool, quicktime info).
This information is usefull because I just acquired a Divx capable DVD player (RJ4000.....it's cheap and so far, works wonderfully) and many players have trouble with either fast or low encoded movies. I think this player handles everything, but I can't be sure because I don't know which flavour they are.

Hard to say... you might just want to do a test-burn on a RW of each and see which works and which doesnt with your player model.
