  1. Hi all!

    1. Is there any firmware update available, that can update my Tochiba SD 220E to 230E? I would like to by able to view JPEG CDs with my player. The 230E should know this...

    2. I tried to play SVCDs. The picture was OK, but my receiver didn't got 5.1 sound from the player. (I got 5.1 signal only from DVDs.) Is this normal? Or the SVCD were not burned correctly?

    Many thanks,
    cumi

  3. RabidDog,

as I read on "https://www.videohelp.com/svcd" Chapter "SVCD vs VCD" the SVCD could/should have 5.1 surround sound (2 audio channels)...

Actually I don't really understand this...

  4. CDs of very good quality full-motion video along with up to 2 stereo audio tracks
from the what is section (blue) I have never heard of a svcd having 5.1, be nice if you could...
I used to own sd210e, which had annoying svcd audio sync issue on properly authored svcd. V good player except for that.
