Where can I download hardware?

Where can I download a DVDRW-drive and how do I burn it into my free 5,25" slot in my computer?

Above reply is correct.

HARDWARE = monitors,mouse, keyboard, CD drives, etc...

SOFTWARE = Programs that you run. These are downloadable...

Of course, you could always download a picture of a CD drive, and print it, then use some tape to mount the picture on the front of your case.

okay this is fairly simple.

1. find an online retailer
2. find the dvd drive you want.
3. enter the amount and credit card information
4. the download should take a couple of days
5. once the download is complete grab an arc welder
6. oh and safety mask
7. you should have the computer off before proceeding.
8. place the drive in the open 5.25 slot
9. now fire up the arc welder
10. burn that baby in there.

This reminds me of a Darwin Award I read a while ago about some guys who found an unexploded bomb from world war II. Being naturally curious guys, they decided to (try) find out what was inside by cutting it open with an arc welder.

Hey I read about that one as well. Also read about some guys ice fishing or somethin with dynamite, was tossing the dynamite to make a hole in the ice or something along those lines, the dog ran and grabbed it as the dog started back towards them one of the guys shot at the dog which scared the hell out of the dog and it ran under the guys vehicle with the dynamite. I felt so sorry for the dog.

I've done it guys :P I actually managed to sneakily download that new DVD-RAM/-RW/-R drive. So many hours... but it burns like a babe in bristol. It took 2 attempts though: first was corrupt data- ended up with a drive that had no opening and the connectors were twisted...

i seem to have this image of a little box where you put the dvd into it and hit the rewind button.(kinda works the same as a vhs rewinder).....is that what it is???

I used to have a problem getting large hardware to download, so I replaced my cable with a larger diameter cable. Now, I can download anything except the really large stuff, like a laser printer, PC case or large monitor (although I can sometimes download those items if I grease up the inside of the cable).

Correct! If you make sure to keep the phone line warm, the ink will stay thin and flow through the line faster; this will make your fax work better and faster!
