    I am a REAL newbie! I would like to take my captured video and split it in to many different clips. I have tried using the HELP in this program, but still don't get it.

    Can someone give me a step by step to separating clips and renaming them?

    It is easy to do. In video editor source window import your video source. Then play it in this window and use the mark in/mark out screen to decide what video you want. Then drag this into your timeline. Do this again for the next video section you want.
