hey all, im making a highlight tape for a girls high school basketball team here. its going to be about a half hour long. i need some help picking out some background music. basically i need:
1. a good, powerful intro song
2. a couple generally upbeat songs (workout/sports songs maybe)
3. a song for the coaches (like "taking care of business", but not that)
4. a good powerful ending song.
any suggestions are very helpful. thanks

My suggestion would be to use instrumentals, and let the ladies and their coaches set the tone, and deliver the message. Much easier to choose.
Hello. -
There is always the Jock Jams albums made by ESPN. They pretty much are geared toward athletes and songs for sporting events.
However I would just blast Metallica and really send a statement......hehe.
But the Jock Jams are good albums for sports....got people saying phrases on there like Chris Berman of ESPN and Dick Vitale of College Hoops.

Great song for all purposes:
Sponge - Plowed
Energy Song:
Marvelous 3 - Sugarbuzz or Freak of the Week
Ending Song:
Zebrahead - Playmate of the Year -
trapt - headstrong. that will get you pumped up. along with anything by Disturbed
Dark booty out. -
George Gershwin
Remember Fanfare for the Common Man - (Old wide world of sports intro song).
He has lots of stuff that works well.
Jazz is also works great.
I agree with Tommyknocker, lyrics are bad.Just what is this reality thing anyway?
