Hi guys,
Ive recently some video files and they are a bit odd-
When i open any of them, immediately my Internet Explorer page opens and goes to www.dvdrip.com
Ive no idea how i can remove these- perhaps i have to re-encode the movies to remove this crap?
Anyways, apart from that, im more worried that some kind of malicious stuff is installed when im taken to this site. Or is it merely just advertising?
Thanks for your time.

I might be concerned too. Would it be fair to say you downloaded this stuff from a p2p? You always need to be on the lookout for what might be in these files.
I would be inclined to delete them, then do a virus scan of your system with the latest virus definitions.
You create your own reality. Interested in media servers and HTPC? Can we talk?
