    I have a DVD i would like to put on a tape (VHS)

    What software will do this.

    I guess i would need to capture to my hd the back to tape ???


    I want to do this at low cost. just have one tape i need to do.

    The easy and cheap way to do that IMO would be to simply play the DVD on your computer and take the TV output from your video card (assuming it has a TV out) to a VCR recorder.

    Rip the DVD without the Macrovision, put the copy in the DVD set top player and copy it to your VCR.
