If the warnings and other screens start after you select "play" in the menu and just before the movie starts. Would I be able to just delete the vob files and my stand alone dvd player will read it fine, or will it get confused?
I can't use ifo edit to delete out menu entries in video_ts.ifo because there vob files and not menus...
The warning is vob_07_1, the nudity warning is vob_10_1, and the formatted to fit your screen is vob 13_1
It seems to work fine on my computer with powerdvd, but I've had problems in the past where editing and the computer will read it no problem, but burn a coaster because my standalone player gets confused and just sits at a black screen...

To disable the warnings using IFOEdit, go to

Look for title bypassing.
In short: VIDEO_TS files have to be in a certain order and with no gaps. The PC doesn't care much because it probably goes by file name. DVD players actually jump to the byte specified in the IFOs. There they expect the file to start. If you delete files and don't do a get sectors in ifoedit, you are jumping into the middle of something. Also, it's questionable how say power dvd would react if it couldn't find a file. It might just go to the next command. A settop probably would go to the spot and even if you did a get sectors, find something else.
Take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm quite thick on these matters and Lyle Lovett would say: "That's right you're not from Texas"I mean it in the nicest way.
