    I have not tried this yet, and was wondering if someone had ( trying to avoid a coaster)
    iDVD 4 will place 2 hours of video on one DVD-R. it apparently uses variable conpression to do this and takes more time.

    so you should be able to "import" the VIDEO_TS file to iDVD 4 and burn the whole thing to DVD. on say a DVD <2 hours

    just wonderding if somewhat tried this. I assume you construct the AUDIO_TS file as you would to burn a 'regular' DVD-R in data Toast 6.

    You can't import a VIDEO_TS folder into iDVD. You can't even import a MPEG2 file. Sorry!
