I've been making Power Hour DVD's for several years now, very easily with Nero Vision Express. Recently it seems all of the "dvd quality" music video's are released in x264 .mkv formatting. NVE does not accept these file types. I've tried changing the .mkv extension to .mpg or .avi and sometimes it loads the file, but freezes when I edit the file. This has caused a lot of frustration, becuase all that was necessary before was to load the .mpg or .avi video into NVE and edit the 60 videos in the order I preferred, then burn. Boom. SO, my question is: Does anyone know of a program that can get the same job done as NVE with the same ease but with .mkv files? I'd appreciate any help.
