I am using TMPGenc DVD authoring and I have a few high definition AVI rips that I would like to convert to DVD-R. Any suggestions? TMPGenc doesn't seem to want to convert them.

TMPGEnc DVD Author does not convert your files from avi to mpeg, that is done with TMPGEnc mpeg encoder. I know, the similar names are confusing. Encode to mpeg first, then author and burn. 8)

And what error messaage does TmpGenc (encoder not author) give when you try and iput your high definition avi.Originally Posted by lowercountry
It amy also help us to help you if you open the avi in virtualdub and select file->file information. Then copy that info into your next post. -
Virtualdub says it is an XVID file; my media player plays it fine.Originally Posted by bugster
