I have an earlier version of Procoder.
Does anyone know how to use avs files with it?
I can't browse to the avs file to add them.

    Cheers

You can use Link2 or VFAPIconv to make an intermediate "dummy" avi file which you can open with Procoder.

With Link2 just open your source avs script and generate an avi file.
Open this avi file with Procoder. You can also use VFAPIconv instead of Link2. Check the frameserving guide:

Well I tried link2 but it wouldn't convert properly.
I tried VfapiConv but it only takes TMPGEnc project files.
So I loaded an avs into tmpgenc and saved that as a tpr file then converted that to the pseudo avi.
    Did I do anything wrong?

  6. No experience pf Procoder, but I think vfapiconv should work. However, to get it to accept Vdub and avisynth files you also need to install readavs.dll. you should then have no problems opening the pseudo-avi file created by vfapiconv in any encoder.

No, I have not tried it because i use Link2. An alternative could be open the avs in tmpgenc and save the project and then open the project file in vfapi and save as avi just as you wrote. Did it work?
