O.K First let me outline what l am trying to do.
Download back-up movies which I can then put onto a DVD.
Main program i am using for this is Ulead DVD Workshop
My problems so far with this are as follows,
I had a complete DVD-RIP which was downloaded as a AVI which i brought into Ulead DVD Workshop.
The file was quite large so i could not use the 8000 birate for high quality because it would not fit onto a 4.7gb disc.
However what i tried was to still create this file but instead of burning straight to a disc created a video_ts folder from Ulead DVD Workshop which came out at about 7.gb which kept the high quality of the film.
I then used dvd to one the bring the size of the folder down to 4.4gb and then burned it to DVD disc.
However it came out a bit blocky and the audio fell out of sync. This all was a bit sad.
One of my questions is should i have reduced the birate within Ulead workshop so that it would of fitted straight onto a 4.7gb disc?
Or is there another way i should of done this. As the Dvd-rip was good quality but l lost it trying to get it onto disc.
Any help greatly appreciated![]()
