Valid but not loadable Divx

Want to convert a Divx file, couldn't load it in VirtualDub or Tmpgen. Players will load it but the image freezes after 10 seconds.

Any idea what could be wrong with my setup?

Nothing probably. It may be a corrupted video.

I had a similar issue the other night. I got the same "Divx 5.0" reading in GSpot.

I ended up having to install Divx 5.05 to be able to play/reencode the file.

BTW, none of the so-called "Codec Packs" would work right with this file. I tried them all......
