They don't offer a demo so it's impossible to evaluate. Perhaps someone is mega-rich and has $40 to gamble with. MemoriesonTV and this are the only DVD Slideshow authoring programs that have the ken burns effect (panning and zooming in and out).

MemoriesonTV responded to a few questions so at least they have communicate with prosepctive customers.

edit: Ok I found a thread on it ..here's just a few quotes...I think MemoriesonTV is definitely the way to go.

"The program (at least) on my computer locks up when I add an uncompressed WAV file for the background music. And it seems not to support text or subtitles, which I am disapointed about. "

"I want to thank all of you who have responded. After reading all the posts I have decided that SHOW is not what I want. I have purchased another slideshow program that has a lot of features that I like. My impression of SHOW is that it seems like another beta release. Not enough info and advertised features that are not ready for prime time. That, and the on going problems with Patinum are keeping me away. When I buy a package I want to feel like it is ready for sale and not experimental. "
