I'm afraid you'll have to be a little clearer. What program are you referring to? Or are you asking about a set top player? Need more imformation.

In my opinion, he is bragging he has access to DVD screeners, DVDs that he gets to see before the general public. You can tell him about Logoaway, although I really do not think he cares, one oway or the other.

well -- "any of us would normally do" .. i guess you are in editing movies on an avid system or something , because those are smpte time code and frame counter (and often scene markers) , which are used on work prints for adding audio , ADR , effects and other such purposes ..

i add them all the time in the work i do .. to remove them .. you don't.

btw -- a "screener" would not have smpte time code burned in UNLESS (very very rarely) it was rushed for reviewing before final edit (this has happened) ..

all you could do is to crop it out or just use the original print like your supposed to do ..

Yes it was a joke but I do know someone who does this honest!
and I told him about Logoaway (fell on deaf ears - he's still using tape)

  11. I still have black electrical tape on my VCR to cover up the blinking 12:00.
(2 years, and 14 re-reads of the manual and I still can't figure it out) Also use black tape for the Check Engine light in my car
