When I installed B's Recorder Gold5 Basic I began to have serious stability problems. Even after uninstalling it and burning with EZCD Creator 5 Basic (installed the latest version from the website), I get the Blue Screen of Death when a burn to my NEC 1300A is completed. The disks are closed and finished, but something the program is trying to do causes the computer to die.
Assuming it was the ATAPI driver that had been played with, I checked into it and found nothing new or wrong when I checked the Device Manager for the drive and the IDE chain it's on.
Does anyone know of a quick fix to this kind of problem? A reinstall of XP is next if nothing else helps.
Thanks...
