  1. Hello

    I want to get subtitles to an divx movie (AVI) and then i want to make the avi file an MPEG file with MPGENC....
    And the copy it to an DVD so i can watch it on my DVD player.....

    But i can't get subtitles under my movies i've tryed some things on that you can see on this site but i still haven't any result...

    Plz people can you help me?
    Plz give only the things that i could do and not whole pages where i must search for the good thing.....

  3. Ok i did this :

    Your subtitles are ripped by subrip or you wrote your own subs with Sub Station Alpha.

    Let's start VirtualDub, select file > open the video file.
    Select video > filters > add TextSub
    A configuration dialog will pop up, press open, select the *.sub, *.srt or *.ssa



    Press STYLE to open the configuration dialog.



    As you can see, you have several options to change the properties of the subtitles.

    Close the configuration dialog by pressing OK, close the TextSub setting dialog by pressing OK, then close the VD filter dialog by pressing OK. Now you are back to the main VD window, select file > preview or just hit F5.

    And that did i do and then there came up an little screen that it was converting or something........
    But that was during 2:30.... and now i still haven't got subs under my movie.....

  6. Still no subs.......

    I tryd it but when i play the movie in Windows media player is still see no subs...

    i only don't know what this means maybe is that the reason :

    (Be sure to turn of Hide extension for known files types in Windows Explorer under Tools->Folder Options->View).

    It stands allmost on top of the page you gave me...
