    Anyone one know how I can convert a DivX file to a regular AVI or an MPEG file, so I can make VCDs that I can watch without my computer?

    ...Ha, funny.

    But really, I already looked there....It shows how to convert to DivX, but not MPEG or regular AVI.

    You should really look alittle better then, the first part of the "Convert" section is titled "How to convert to VCD or XVCD MPEG", then alittle further down the page you find "How to convert to DivX or AVI"
