Okay, I admit that I am a newbie. I have, however tried doing a search and used the dvd-writer comparison tool, both of which came up blank. I am planning to convert 50-60 hours of home movies from VHS to DVD. I was originally planning to do this via a PC based system, but the hassles with Best-Buy and video capture cards proved to be just too much. So now I am looking for a stand-alone (aka desktop) solution.
I want to be able to put in simple menus, with text-based titles (no pictures). I was hoping to be able to do this via a wireless USB keyboard (which I already have, and use for doing searches on my PVR). Does anyone know of a stand-alone DVD writer that has USB keyboard support (plug-and-play) built in?
I am also open to other suggestions, such as typing in the title text on a computer and somehow moving it into the DVD writer.
Thanks in advance.
Chris
