    I got a Avi Moviefile encoded with opendivX Video and AC3 Audio Codec. Tmpgenc does not recognize the Audiostream and Virtual Dub Ac3/ Nandub can not load the File. Can anybody help me to convert zhe file to SVCD?

    did you demux the ac3 stream out first??...if so, you need to to use Azid to convert to wav file, then toolame to convert to mp2....then remux the video with the mp2

    It was not possible to demux/ extract the AC3 Audiostream from the avi file with Virtual Dub ac3/ nandub. Error opening the File: Couldn' locate Compressor for the format (DIVX). I never tried to convert an OpenDivX encoded avi. I just want to now which tool I have to use to extract the AC3 stream.

    did you try demux ing with tmpg??..using mpeg tools

    TMpgEnc does not support demuxing Avi Files, only mpeg. It is an AVI File
