  1. i have a load of avi files which i am converting to m peg so i can play them as a vcd on my dvd player i have re encoded a few of the files to m peg using tmpegenc but when they play back in m peg format on my pc there is no sound at all??? what am i doing wrong??? and also the programs are only 25 mins long but when i re encode them to m peg they come out at 75 mins long??? and when i play them back the m peg clip is there at the start only 25 mins then there is just 50 mins of black screen at the end??? is there a program that i can use to cut out the dark 50 minute long section at the end of the clip???? many thanx!!

  3. Virtualdub will work as the guide saya, I've done it many times. Tmpge will let you trim the files, use the wizard and it's the first selection on the filters page (can't remember the name offhand)
