    res.members
    i last day tried to burn a vcd of 786mb. in a 700 mb. cdr
    cd-r was accesible when it was blank
    but after burning it was not accesible in my computer as well as also in my vcd player
    don't bother,
    but anyone of u can tellme why this has happend???

    you need to try a couple more things:

    1) cut your MPEG file so it is less than 700MB long (in size), then burn it with Nero to see if this works.

    2) when you burn, need to check the DISC-AT-ONCE option, this way the computer will be able to read the disc. Someone told me it's not necessary but I always check that box to be sure.

    By the way, the this long MPEG file playable with Windows Media Player ?

    Yesterday, I burn big MPEG files (789MB and 792 MB respectively) on the CDs (700MB-80min), and both discs played fine in my DVD player. I also make sure I can the the ending of each disc. They are there.

    However, I had to enable the OVERBURN option in Nero for this to work or else, Nero won't burn the disc.
