  2. You can separate the video using virtual dub. Load the avi in virtual dub then choose audio>no audio. Then video>direct stream copy. Then file>save as avi. This will five you an avi with no audio. Use this and your wav file in TMPG. How are the priorities set in the environmental settings? What instructions did you use?

  4. virt dub will not acpept file!!
(could not locate decompressor for format xvid unknown)

virtuall dub reqs a video for windows (vfw)compatable codec to decompress video.

i already downloaded xvid codec and installed so i can watch on bsplayer which i can

  5. Open up virtual dub and choose video>full process mode. Then under choose video>compression. A new window will pop up listing the codecs available for compressing. Scroll to the bottom and make sure you see te xvid mpeg4 codec. If not try installing it again. If it is there, the only other suggestion I can make is to download the avi fourcc code changer from the tools section under codecs. Load your film into it and change the fourcc handle from xvid to divx. There should be instructions on how to use it with the package when you download it.
