    can anyone help me got an avi tmpeg doesnt want to know it and when i seperate the streams with virtual dub the audio and try to reencode to vcd with tmpeg it comes up with a ridiculous percentage over the norm the audio file also does not show up as a vbr file

    Get Gspot from the Tools section and test your file. What does it say under audio codec? Is it installed?

    it says 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3 and i already have 2 codecs installed must be a dodgy file thanks for the g spot download didnt know about tha particular programme
