  1. Hi, could someone explain me how to convert movies from dish pvr501
players to DVD? Here is my what I have been doing.
I have DVD Workshop, Tmpenc, and mpegtovcr.

Sometimes the audio from dish pvr is .ac3 or mpeg. When I mix them
together with Tmpenc it produce a .mpg stream having audio and video.

I was succesfuly doing the DVD when using video .m2v and audio .mp2
using DVD workshop, but when I tried to use .ac3 is no a valid format
in DVD workshop. I tried to convert the audio to .mp2 and mix
with .m2v video and did the encoding and re-sizing the resolution
with DVD workshop but the audio lags the video, video speed is not
    real, is slow motion.

Could someone post here the correct way to create a DVD from a
dishpvr without rencoding using the actual video .m2v and .ac3 or
    mpeg audio.

    I really apreciate it

    Thanks in advance

  2. It's not possible to get the compressed video out of the PVR unless you take apart the receiver and remove the HD and put it in your computer. Dishnetwork is 480x480 rez, so it's SVCD format more or less.

I just capture from the 501 to my PVR-250. Looks great.
