  1. Ran through TMPGEnc, no sound. Ran through Virtual Dub, and no "out of sync" warning, also no bad frames. Started out as AC3, and I have that and many other codecs. Been burning for 2 years, and this is a first for me. Decompressed audio to pcm. No sound.

Any suggestions? I'm not too smart, so hope the answer isn't too technical for a simple girl

  3. Sorry. I should have mentioned that I saved it as a .wav file in Virtual Dub and there was still no sound. Would GoldWave make a difference?

Also, I ran it through AVIcodec and it showed:

    Audio : 1.4 GB, 1536 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x1 = PCM, Supported

No sound, no how. What's the deal? Please?
