VIDEO TAPE (VHS) to DVD

Hi all

I am look on ideas , advice on a good way or shal I say how to put VHS onto DVD...

I want to know the best way on conntecting the video recorder to the PC and best way on saving the files etc..


The software I already have are

NERO 6
EASY CD 6
DVD SHRINK 3.05b

PC I have is a

P4 / 2.4
512 RAM ddr 333 (pc2700)
HDD 80GB
GEFORCE 4 TI4600 (128) AGP
SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY
DVD REWRITTER PIONNER A105
CD REWRITTER HP 9100
LS 120 DRIVE



I want to put some video tapes of mine onto DVD like some films I have taped off Sky etc... Also is there any software that can remove copy protection off video tape as I love to have my tapes onto DVD...

In a good price range

I may of not need to but full spec of PC but I thought more info the better

You will need a capture device unless the GForce is one.
Macrovision removers cost about $50
