  1. Can someone walk me through a simple way to make an "insert next CD" type notice at the end of an SVCD?

  2. The simplest way to do this is to create a picture with that text on it, save it as a bmp or jpg, feed it to tmpgenc, which will make it a single frame mpg. Then you feed that mpg back into tmpgenc and set the frame range to about 200-300 frames. When you encode it, it'll MAKE it the size you told it to be, and tag it on the end of your disc as another movie file. It's REAL easy

... or you can just add the bmp or jpg created as decribed above as the last item when compiling the files to burn the (S)VCD in Nero. Right-click the file, choose "Properties" and set the duration in secs you want the "message" to appear.

    Good luck!

What if I really strongly do not wish to insert the next CD? Can I ignore the message, or will it haunt me until I follow the instruction?

  5. Yes, AntnyMD, wherever you go, there the message will be.
When you sleep, you'll see it in your dreams.
When you listen to the radio, you'll hear it.
When you eat, your food will resemble it.
When you have sex, your lover will shout "Insert Disk 2 you animal!!"

The sooner you submit, the sooner you can have your life back...it's up to you.
