    I just downloaded shrek from morpheus. It was about 300mb big but when I try to play it I only get sound, no video. It is a .avi file but it wont play in windvd and I can't open it in tmpgenc. what is the problem here?

    It's not an avi it's a MPEG compressed DivX file. The most likely problem is that you don't have the correct codec installed to play it. Take a look under "Tools" to the left and try either the krystal or Project Mayo codecs.

    There's more than one DivX codec out there, most end in *.avi (M$ has it's own wmv format as well).
