SVCD Subtitles problem

I have an SVCD file which has Swedish subtitles on it. Is there anyway to either get rid of the subtitles using a programme or convert it to another SVCD file or DVD and get rid of the subtitles??

If the subs are permanent(non selectable) you can only cut away them or blur away them and reencode the video(lose some video quality).

You can reencode and cut with tmpgenc to svcd or dvd.

You can use virtualdubmod or virtualdub-mpeg2 with Virtualdub Logoaway filter and frameserve to tmpgenc and reencode to svcd or dvd.
