  1. I want to backup G00DF3LL@S to one DVD-R... the DVD is double-sided... what are my options? I only found one guide using DVDshrink... any others? Or is a complete waste of time?

DO a search for goodfellas in this forum and you will get lots of tips.

You can also use latest dvd2one to copy a dvd18 to one dvdr.

You could use DVD2ONE in FULL DISC MODE which will make an exact 1:1 backup in that although the backup will be "compressed" to fit on a single DVD-R it will function exactly like the original with all the menus and options etc.

    *** EDIT ***
My mistake ... I didn't read closely enough to see that this was a double SIDED disc. My bad. You can do this with DVD2ONE but I don't think it keeps the menu.

  5. I have done that with NeoDVD Plus and with a menu, however the menu's offered by NeoDVD are a bit basic (nothing fancy).

  6. You could use DVD2one or DVDShrink to compress each side of the disk to say 2100mb, then use an authoring proggy to add some menus.

Not sure whether the quality would be what you want, but it's a way of doing it.
