Is this a good drive? Will it rip commercial DVD's at the full 10x that it advertises? Does DVD Decrypter recognize it? I'm tired of waiting on my Sony DRU500AX to rip movies at 2x.

Also, is the slot-loading mechanism harmful to discs? It seems like it might be, but I thought I'd ask.
