  1. I want to backup the first Matrix film but was wondering the best way to also include the PC DVD-ROM special features.

I backed the film up using ANY-DVD & CLONE-DVD but it did not copy the PC side of things over.

Could anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial, I have searched but could not find anything relating to this.

    Thanks

  2. Im not sure if it is possible to copy the pc stuff to a DVD-r.
i use DVD Shrink & IC7 To Backup my Discs & i dont think they include the PC Stuff.
I bet you if it can be done its going to be quite difficult & proberly not worth doing.
You could always just watch your back up & use the orginal Matrix in your PC.

How about using DVD Shrink or DVD2DVD-r to compress the Matrix on yr HDD allowing for the space that the dvd-rom features will take up on yr dvd-r and then simply copy paste the dvd-rom features from the original outside the video_ts folder on yr HDD. Then using yr favorite burning software you can burn to dvd-r. I think the dvd-rom features are rarely css coded.

  5. Thanks for the answers.

spiderman2k1, I am using ANYDVD along with CLONEDVD but all that was copied over was the VIDEO files, what it did copy over was spot on and I can watch the film OK.
How would I copy over the PC files using ANYDVD and CLONEDVD, is this possible.

    Thanks

Just copy them over, they aren't encrypted. Stick the DVD in your drive, browse the main dir on the disk, and just drag and drop the files to your hard drive. Then just incorporate them into your DVD. If you are making a DVD image then just drop them in a dir, then in that dir place your VIDEO_TS dir.

If you are using something like Nero to burn, then you should be able to just add them in the main dir of the DVD.
