Hi there,
I'm still new to backing up & came across the following message today while trying to back up "Legally Blonde" using DVD Shrink v3.0 beta
"DVD Shrink encountered an error & cannot continue
Failed to read from file
The reason is: Copy Protection error - The read failed because the sector
is encrypted"
Is there anyway to get around this? I tried to search to find an answer with no luck.
Thanks

I got that same message recently after I had backed up several movies previously with no problems. However, I had just installed a new DVD Rom drive. I went to the Lite-On site and downloaded new firmware for the drive, and no more error messages.
You might want to check the firmware of the drive that you are ripping from.Burn Baby Burn
It's a Disk-o Inferno -
Rip ALL files with DVDDecrypter to the HDD and open the files in DVDShrink instead of DVD disc. It might help
You stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.
