Anyone know of a good (preferably free) "undelete" app for NTFS? I deleted a movie (that I had really put some effort into) by accident last nite, by habit holding the shift key pressed as I hit Delete and Enter in rapid succession... (Yeah, I know...)

  2. I had a post about this. I'll try and dig it up.

WARNING: do not do anything to the drive of which the file was stored on or you risk overwriting the file!!!

  3. Here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=175028

It is concerning a DVD-RW (which I could not recover) but all the programs suggested should work with NTFS.

Try one of them to see if you can still recover the file, and if you can, maybe buy a program just in case it happens again, or try a search on google for a free app.

Nope, that one showed the file, but as 0 bytes... On to the next!
    Thanks for your concern, tho...
