  1. I just created a project in iMovie/iDvd and it's great except for one problem that I'm hoping there will be an easy way to fix. It's a comp of Classic TV commercials.Unfortuately, some of the original files have sound only in one channel (which i didn't notice until i played the dvd on my system). My question is-can i take the whole .mov file of my comp and re-encode it from stereo to mono and then use that to replace the one that's there? I don't wanna have to go back and re-encode everything separately (there are like 90 clips on there)...I'm already running this in Cleaner but it's gonna take a long time so would appreciate any advice as to whether this will work or not-

    lol... that sucks.

I would suggest deleting the one channel that is giving you nothing and then exporting to stereo that way. This should work and you could use Peak for this. It has a batch processor.

Thanks-how would you go about deleting that channel?Should I extract the audio in QT and then re-stereo-ize in Peak?
When answering please assume that you are talking to someone who knows next to nothing about this stuff.
