  1. Hello
i'm converting my old vhs's to dvd and i'm encoding it interlaced cause i'll watch it on my tv and the tv deinterlace the videos, but my question is, if in the future i want to watch this dvd's in a plasma tv or something like that if i'll see the interlaced lines, cause on my computer i see all the lines.
can some one explain me how this interlace and deinterlace thing really works?

sorry if this is not the correct forum but as this is conversion and i don't know if i have to convert the video interlaced or deinterlaced..

    thanks

The plasma TVs play current broadcast video right ?
    That's interlaced.
Therefore they will play your interlaced videos.
